Thomas Nicholas is the CEO and co-founder of Alloy, an API to ease the pain of customer identification (KYC/AML, etc) for financial services companies. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Tommy began his career as a software developer. He worked on everything from AR experiences for large museums to consumer facing websites, one of which was named to Time Magazine’s top 50 websites of 2013. In 2014 he entered the world of high-risk transaction processing for financial services companies, where the problems caused by the lack of APIs to solve business problems in financial services became the inspiration for starting Alloy.

David Fields is the founder and managing partner of PTB Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage companies in the digital identity ecosystem. David is a former private equity investment professional and brings over a decade of private investment and advisory experience both to his investors and his portfolio companies at PTB. He began his career as a credit analyst at Citigroup Global Markets and later served on the investment team at Cooper Investment Partners. David graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Beverly Dicks attended and graduated with a degree in Social Work from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Beverly currently resides in Victoria, British Columbia and is the Assistant Deputy Minister for ServiceBC, with the Ministry of Citizens’ Services. Beverly has worked in the public sector for over 30 years, starting her career as a child protection social worker. Throughout her career in the Public Service, Beverly has shown her commitment and dedication to children, families and all citizens of British Columbia. In Beverly’s current position; her focus is to leverage technology and a commitment to service excellence to enable the delivery of cost-effective, accessible and responsive services, making it easier for citizens and businesses to interact with government. ServiceBC consists of four diverse branches with over 400 staff: Provincial Identity Management, Service Delivery, Strategic Services and BC Registries and Online Services.

Reed Taussig is Chief Executive Officer of ThreatMetrix. With expertise in building high-growth companies at the forefront of technological change, Taussig has led ThreatMetrix since 2008. Under his leadership the company has become the driving force in an emerging digital identity space by leveraging pioneering global shared intelligence technology, culminating in its 2018 acquisition by LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
